Tucked into the architectural masterpiece that is The Roseate New Delhi, Kiyan offers more than a meal — it’s an immersive sensory escape. The property itself is poetry in sandstone and shadow — bold copper columns, curving lines, and still reflecting pools that mirror the night sky with meditative precision.

As you stroll the candle-lit pathways surrounded by manicured greens and lily ponds, the setting slowly begins to feel cinematic — something between a Mughal court and a futuristic oasis. Dining here is an experience of space, serenity, and seduction.

The Ambience

Kiyan’s outdoor seating is set right by the shimmering water, framed by sculptural light, vertical gardens, and intimate floral arrangements. It’s romantic without trying too hard — ideal for a date night, a luxury solo dinner, or a quiet celebration of being alive.

Every corner of Roseate is curated for elegance, from the minimalist-modern interiors with vaulted, creamy curved corridors to the fine details — flickering lanterns, flower vases perfectly aligned, and that soft ambient playlist humming in the background.

The Non-Vegetarian Thali Experience

I opted for their non-vegetarian Indian thali, and it arrived plated like a royal offering. The polished copper katoris carried a soulful spread:

• Butter chicken rich with smokiness

• Rogan josh melting in aromatic warmth

• Lentils slow-cooked to creamy perfection

• Cucumber raita dusted with cumin

• Spiced mixed pickles that jolted the senses

• A side of steamed basmati rice, charred naan, and gulab jamuns so soft they surrendered to the spoon

Everything was served with immaculate grace. The waitstaff were quiet, warm, and perfectly attentive — no interrupting the mood, just letting the moment stretch, softly.

The Verdict

If you’re in Delhi and crave a break from the chaos — this is your escape. Roseate doesn’t scream luxury; it whispers it — through design, detail, and divine food. Book a dinner around twilight, and you’ll witness the light transform this property into a dreamscape
